OPEN DAILY THIS SUMMER!

Please see our social media for updates.

We’re so excited to be hosting our second PYO Sunflowers at Oak Tree Farm - a perfect, fun family day out during the summer holidays!

Come and visit our sunflower patch, pick your own stems and walk around our beautiful wildflower meadow, bursting with colour, bees and butterflies.

Plus there'll be lots of photo opportunities, farm animals to visit and refreshments to enjoy - and, as sunflowers are the national flower of Ukraine, we will also be raising funds to support those affected by the Ukrainian Crisis.

Opening Times

Open daily this summer (dates and times TBC – please keep an eye on our social media for updates).

With 6 different varieties of sunflowers over a 2 acre patch, a beautiful wildflower meadow, refreshments and photo opportunities for those Insta-worthy pictures, we hope you’ll all have an amazing time visiting us this summer.

Please note that our usual 7pm closing time is subject to change – if the weather is glorious and lots of people want to visit for sunset we will stay open later to ensure you all have time to enjoy it!

Make sure you’re following us on Instagram and Facebook for notifications of late closings @VillagePumpkinsPYO.

Family Friendly

Village Sunflowers will be a fabulous experience for all the family, and a perfect way to spend some time during the summer holidays.

As well as being able to pick your own beautiful sunflower stems to take home, you can walk around our lovely wildflower meadow, enjoy a coffee and cake, and also visit our animals.

You can feed our hens and visit our ducks by the sunflowers, and our pigs, Penelope and Beyonce, would love it if you went to say hello to them in our woodland area!

And, of course, don’t forget to keep an eye out for the infamous Boris the boar!

Dog Friendly

We have decided to make Village Sunflowers a dog friendly event (although we cannot allow dogs at our pumpkin patch in October) – furry friends are free to come to our sunflowers.

NOTE: Dogs MUST be kept on leads AT ALL TIMES!

We are still a working farm with livestock and moving machinery. If you are to bring your dog they must be friendly around lots of other people, other dogs and children. Please do not bring nervous, reactive or aggressive dogs as it is not fair on the dogs or other visitors.

All dog mess must be picked up!

Refreshments

We will have lots of refreshments for you to enjoy on-site if you fancy a treat, with teas, coffees and cakes available at The Shepherd’s Hut.

Toilets available.

Ukrainian Crisis Fundraising

As the sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine, we thought it fitting to raise funds to support those affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

Towards the end of the season, we’ll start harvesting the seeds so you can use them for baking, feeding the birds, or even have a go at growing your own sunflowers next year!

Proceeds from seeds bought, and from any food bought to feed our hens while visiting Village Sunflowers, will be donated to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal run by the Disasters Emergency Committee, helping DEC charities provide food, water, shelter and healthcare to refugees and displaced families. #StandWithUkraine

Cameras at the ready!

There will be plenty of opportunities for photos – everyone loved our Village Pumpkin’s tractor so look out for it again at Village Sunflowers and be sure to tag us in your photos on social media!
